B&W, 와이어리스 뮤직 시스템 신 모델 출시
B&W는 지난 19일 와이어리스 뮤직 시스템 제품군에 신 모델인 Z2와 Zeppelin Air를 선보였다.
두 모델은 모두 iPhone 스피커 독(dock) 형태이며 Apple의 AirPlay와 8핀 라이트닝 단자를 채용하여 iPhone5를 비롯해 iPod 및 iPod Nano 최신버전과의 호환성을 극대화 했다.
또한, AirPlay를 통해 Apple의 구모델들은 물론 Mac이나 iTunes를 설치한 일반 PC에서도 와이어리스 스트리밍을 즐길 수 있으며, 3.5mm 이어폰잭을 통한 연결도 가능하다.
Z2는 크고 선명한 사운드를 재생하기 위해 고성능 클래스D 증폭 앰프와 B&W가 특허를 보유하고 있는 저노이즈 디지털 시그널 프로세싱 파워 서플라이를 채용했다. 또한, B&W의 최상급 기종에 적용되는 Flowport를 적용하여 맑고 풍부한 저역을 구현한다.
라이트닝 단자를 채용한 Zeppelin Air의 업그레이드 버전도 선보였다.
