우리에게도 익숙한 이름인 그리폰에서 기존의 Antileon을 대폭 개량한 Antileon Signature가 출시되어 조만간 한국에도 수입이 될 예정이다. 좀 더 자연스럽고 순수한 음을 내기위해 새로운 기술과 물량이 투입된 Antileon Signature는 Stereo Model과 Mono Model(Gryphon Antileon Solo) 두 종류가 있다.
일단 기존모델(Antileon)과 다른 점은 출력이 100Watt에서 150Watt로 늘어났다는 점이 가장 눈에 띄고, 주파수 대역이 0.5 – 350,000 Hz로 광대역화 하여 새로운 디지탈 포멧에 대응한 점이 흥미롭니다.
Fully balanced 설계, 듀얼모노 디자인, Pure A급 150Watt/8옴를 내어주는 Antileon Signature는 역시 그리폰답게 1,500W 용량의 트윈 트로이달 트랜스포머채용으로 4옴에서 300Watt, 2옴에서 600Watt로 리니어하게 내려가고 1옴에서도 1,100Watt까지 내어주는 뛰어난 내구성 및 구동력을 갖고 있다고 한다.
국내에도 많은 애호가가 있는 Gryphon의 새로운 모델이 과연 어떤 모습으로 등장할지 기대가 된다.
